READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING.
DXF file, SVG file, Vectric file, and Carveco file for the Shaper Trace. In order for this to work you will need to have purchased the original Shaper Trace frame from Shaper Tools.
You can purchase the Original Shaper Trace at this Amazon Associate Link:

If you do not own and have an account with Shaper Tools for a Shaper Trace and the included scanning software then do not buy this item. Refunds will not be issued for purchasing these files without having purchased the original Shaper Trace.
The CNC carved frames will work like your original Shaper Trace frame as long as you have purchased the original and have access to the software. This is basically an accessory to the frame you should have already purchased.
This listing is for digital products only.
You will be able to download the .DXF and .SVG files to use with your CNC machine.
You will also receive a Vectric file created in VCarve Pro and a Carveco file created in Carveco Maker.
These digital files are for personal use only. Resale of the digital files or the carved items is not allowed.
The files will allow you to use your CNC to create a duplicate of your original Shaper Trace in two different sizes:
- 200% (Double) size - Items scanned with this frame need to be scaled up by a factor of 2 to be real world size.
- 300% (Triple) size - Items scanned with this frame need to be scaled up by a factor of 3 to be real world size.
The Vectric file is set up for 1/2" thick plywood. It is set up to carve the outer profiles to a depth of 0.4" with a material thickness of 0.5" so you can finish cutting the Trace frame out with a 1/4" diameter flush trimming bit with a router.
The Carveco file is set up for 1/2" thick plywood. It is set up to carve the outer profiles to a depth of 7/16" with a material thickness of 0.5" so you can finish cutting the Trace frame out with a 1/4" diameter flush trimming bit with a router.
The pockets for the white dots are carved at a depth of 0.04". If this is not deep enough for your situation then set the appropriate depth and recalculate the toolpaths. On the original Shaper Trace the white dots are flush with the rest of the black frame so make them as shallow as possible.
All toolpaths should be cut with a 1/4" diameter downcutting end mill.
You will need to change the profile carving depth to full material depth and modify/add tabs to your preference.
I suggest painting the top surface of your material black using something like black paint or a black stain like General Finishes Water Based Black Stain.
If you would like the circles to be a brighter white you can use white paint, fill with white tinted epoxy, or use a white acrylic paint pen. See link for these below.
